Refund Policy

We stand behind our service. Here is exactly how refunds work, including all statutory rights.

1. Overview

This policy applies to all paid purchases on https://onesnapid.com. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. OneSnapID sells digital content — specifically, clean (watermark-free) downloads of formatted passport and visa photographs. Because the download is delivered immediately and digitally, statutory withdrawal rights are subject to the digital-content exception described below.

2. EU & EEA Consumers — 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.

Digital Content Exception (Art. 16(m))

The right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if: (i) performance has begun; (ii) you gave prior express consent to immediate delivery; and (iii) you acknowledged that you waive the withdrawal right once the download is made available.

Our checkout is operated by our Merchant of Record, Polar.sh, which presents its purchase terms (including the immediate-delivery digital-content terms) before your payment is confirmed. By completing the purchase and downloading the file, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge the resulting waiver of the withdrawal right under applicable law.

Regardless, if you believe the digital-content consent was not properly obtained, your withdrawal right remains intact. Contact m_tas@outlook.com within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund within 14 days of your notice, no reason required.

3. UK Consumers — 14-Day Right of Cancellation

UK consumers have a right of cancellation under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The same digital-content exception applies (Regulation 28(1)(b)), with consent captured at our Polar.sh checkout. If the consent was not properly obtained, the full 14-day cancellation right remains intact — contact m_tas@outlook.com.

4. Our Voluntary Refund Commitment (All Users)

Regardless of location, we offer the following:

4.1 Processing Failure — Full Automatic Refund

If you were charged but did not receive a downloadable file due to a technical error on our part, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact us within 30 days with your transaction reference; we will refund within 5 business days.

4.2 Photo Rejected by Government Authority — Goodwill Refund

OneSnapID does not guarantee acceptance (see Terms, §3). However, if a government authority explicitly rejects your application solely because the photograph did not meet technical specifications, we will consider a goodwill refund or free reprocess, subject to:

  • You submit official written rejection notice citing a formatting defect within 60 days of purchase.
  • The rejection is attributable to a formatting defect (dimensions, background colour, etc.) — not to the content of your original photo, your country/type selection, authority policy changes after your purchase, or factors outside our control.
  • AI-enhancement exclusion: some authorities (e.g. the United States, the United Kingdom, and India) do not accept AI-enhanced or digitally-altered photos. If you choose AI Enhancement for such a country, a rejection on that basis is at your own discretion and is not eligible for this goodwill refund.
  • Where confirmed, we will at our option either reprocess your photo at no charge or issue a full refund of the purchase price.

This goodwill commitment does not create any contractual right beyond what is stated here.

4.3 Duplicate Charges

If charged more than once for the same order, contact us immediately. We will investigate and refund confirmed duplicate charges within 5 business days.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email m_tas@outlook.com with:

  • Your name (as it appeared at checkout)
  • Date of purchase
  • Your Polar order ID or the confirmation email you received
  • Reason for your refund request
  • For government-rejection refunds: a copy or photo of the official rejection notice

We acknowledge all requests within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 10 business days.

6. Refund Method

All refunds are issued to the original payment method via Polar. Processing time at your card issuer is typically 5–10 business days.

7. US Customers

We comply with the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR Part 435) and applicable state consumer protection laws. Our refund policy is clearly stated prior to purchase. We honour our voluntary commitment in §4 for all US users.
