1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using OneSnapID at https://onesnapid.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and OneSnapID("we," "us," or "our").

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced with prominent notice. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Service Description

OneSnapID is an independent, privately operated online tool that helps individuals format photographs to meet the published technical requirements of government-issued identity document applications.

4. User Representations and Warranties

• Identity: You are the person in the photograph you upload, or you are the parent / legal guardian of the person depicted with authority to upload their photograph.
• Ownership: You own or have all necessary rights to upload and process the photograph. It does not infringe any third-party rights.
• Age: You are at least 18 years old, or at least 13 years old with parental or guardian consent. You will not use this Service on behalf of any child under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
• Accuracy: Any information you provide (e.g., country, document type) is accurate.
• Lawful Use: You will use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
• No Misrepresentation: You will not use the Service to create fraudulent identity documents or to prepare photographs intended for use by a different person without proper legal authority.

5. Prohibited Uses

• Creating, preparing, or submitting fraudulent identity documents or applications.
• Uploading photographs of another person without their consent or appropriate legal authority.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the Service.
• Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers without our express written permission.
• Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security features or access controls.
• Uploading content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Impersonating any person or entity or falsely claiming affiliation with any person or entity.
• Any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

6. Intellectual Property

• Our Content: The OneSnapID name, logo, website design, software, algorithms, and all other content (excluding your photographs) are owned by or licensed to us. No copying, distribution, or derivative works without express written permission.
• Your Photographs: You retain all ownership rights in the photographs you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process that photograph solely to provide the Service during your session. This licence terminates at session end. We do not claim ownership of your photographs.
• Output Images: The formatted photographs are derived from your original. You own the output images, subject to rights in the original. We claim no intellectual property rights in the outputs.

7. Payment Terms

• Free Tier: The basic service (watermarked download) is available free of charge.
• Paid Tier — Clean Download: A clean (watermark-free) download is available for a fee shown at the time of purchase.
• Payment Processor: All payments are handled by Polar Software, Inc. (Polar.sh), our Merchant of Record, which also handles applicable sales tax/VAT. We do not collect or store your card details.
• Billing: Payment is charged at the time of purchase. Each clean download is a one-time purchase.
• Refunds: See our Refund Policy for full details. We honour all statutory rights including the EU/UK 14-day withdrawal right where applicable.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing. Changes will not affect purchases already made.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND — EXPRESS OR IMPLIED — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PHOTOGRAPH FORMATTED BY THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCEPTED BY ANY GOVERNMENT AUTHORITY. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OneSnapID and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law; (c) your infringement of any third-party right; or (d) content you upload.

12. Dispute Resolution

• Informal Resolution: Before any formal proceeding, contact us at m_tas@outlook.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
• Binding Arbitration (US users): Unresolved disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the AAA under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Class-action waiver applies.
• EU Online Dispute Resolution: EU consumers may use the European Commission's ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
• UK Consumers: UK consumers may bring claims before UK courts regardless of the arbitration provision.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and OneSnapID with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
